みたかし Mitaka and Studio Ghibli

I first visited Mitaka and Studio Ghibli in August 2007 and then again in October 2009.

These are awesome little things they give you each time you go. Sorry for the blurry photo. I just snapped a photo of these on my phone after sitting for quite a few years. A bit dusty too.

    Love the pictures and the blog!! Japan is just too awesome >.< I tried to go but it was sold out in the summer time 😦

    I’ve always wanted to go to the Ghibli Studio Museum! I’m trying to figure out which films those film cells are from!

      It’s a great museum. They have a big cat bus for kids to play in. I was really tempted to crawl through it but I think I would of scared the kids away and would have got kicked out! There are also these awesome sinks outside with Jiji on the spout. Not sure about the cells. I have to take a better look at them but I don’t think they are from any Miyazake films…?

    Thank you for this post, we went to Mitaka and the museum we were early and walked all over the whole town met some nice people, went down back streets and all over it was a nice area. i love the ghibli but that travels through it too,
